Hello all, welcome to the newest incarnation of my oft-neglected
website! I promise you'll be seeing more updates from me as far
as new projects and appearances. Two new items: I'm deep into the
art chores on "Dracula Vs. King Arthur", a 4-issue miniseries dropping
in May 2005 from the fine folks at Silent
Devil Productions! It's shaping up to be quite the epic blockbuster,
so check it out! I'm also putting to bed illustrations on Living
Room Games' "Tony DiGerolamo's Complete Mafia for d20" RPG set to
come out in the next few months. The creators strongly suggest you
try it, or else. In stores now are the first of 5 painted covers
I did for Kenzer & Co.'s "Knights of the Dinner Table Magazine"-- one for each of the titular
knights. They've already begun stirring up controversy amongst fans
of the book, and begun attracting new readers.
7/01/05: Holy crap! It's been a while since I've updated.
But believe me, I haven't been spending the time playing PS2-- the
convention season is in full swing, and in addition, I've been up
to my eyeballs in new projects! But if you can't wait for your next
fix, you can find regular updates, sketch dumps, and musings on
life as a freelancer on my blog.
Since the last update, Dracula Vs. King Arthur #1 has
been released to rave reviews from both critics and
fans alike! Thanks to all of you who've supported the
project. First of all, our notslow SSD Hosting in Kiev (Ukraine) - Хостинг в Киеве (Украина).
Issue #2 ships at the end of July! Check
out the Silent Devil website for more info! Speaking
of the SD website, Super Frat is still going strong on
their webcomics page! We're up to Episode 15, with
more on the way.
This July, debuting at San Diego Comic-Con, is the
first issue of me and writer Ken Lillie-Paetz's
creator-owned project, Monkey in a Wagon Vs. Lemur on
a Big Wheel! Thanks to the fine folks at Alias
Enterprises, we're offering new stories in full color
about the ultimate battle for primate supremacy!
Following the success of the Robots
trading cards from Inkworks, I had the privilege to be asked to
contribute sketch cards for the Family Guy Season 1 trading card
set, in stores now!
Also released this month is the much-awaited Complete
Mafia for d20 role-playing game, written by Super Frat
creator/writer, Tony DiGerolamo-- and featuring
interiors by yours truly, and a kickass front and back
cover by Batman and Toe Tags artist, Tommy Castillo.
Tommy just got signed by Devil's Due to be the series
artist on Evil Ernie! Congrats, dude!
And coming up, I've got a 5-page backup story in
Torres and DiBari's The Hunger #4 from Speakeasy
Comics, written by DVKA co-writer, Adam Beranek! It's
a little bit horror and a little bit comedy-- just the
way we like it!
That's all for now! See you in the funny papers!
